Onde medie generose in questo periodo. Finalmente sono riuscito anch'io ad ascoltare il Giappone su 1386 kHz e la Korea su 972 kHz. Sempre presente Taiwan su 1557, quando forte, quando più debole ma spesso ricevibile anche con i portatili. Buoni ascolti, Giampiero

Ecco alcuni ascolti fatti a Bocca di Magra durante l'appuntamento numero 36 delle cosiddette Boc DX Nights di Dario Monferini e Giampiero Bernardini

Per la prima volta siamo riusciti a registrare un'identificazione completa di Radio Nacional Sao Tome su 945 kHz. Diversi gli ascolti africani, con una propagazione con ampi sprazzi di apertura verso sud. Sulla stessa frequenza arrivava anche l'Eritrea. Altri country africani: Tanzania, Nigeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti.

Un altro id finalmente registrato è stato quello della stazione greca Nicolas Apo Elata su 1188 kHz

Nei giorni scorsi ci sono state delle buone giornate, anzi nottate, di propagazione in onde medie e in onde corte. Così a Bocca di Magra ne ho potuto approfittare con gli amici Michele IZ2EAS e Marzio.


Ecco il log di alcuni ascolti transatlantici con il loop della Wellbrook e l'Excalibr Pro. Dovrei riascoltare alcune registrazioni, ma trovare il tempo non è facile. Diverse le colombiane in arrivo con buon segnale e id chiarissimo. In particolare Ondas de la Montana, da Medellin, entrava in cuffia davvero bene e con decine di annunci. Una pacchia per il povero DXer...

Dopo la chiusura delle stazioni francesi in onde medie alcune frequenze sono diventate dei territori di caccia dei DXer. Ad esempio il canale dei 1377 kHz. Qui sono diverse le stazioni che si possono ascoltare facilmente o quasi pur rappresentando dei buoni DX che si alternano col passare delle ore, o anche solo dei minuti. Naturalmente non poteva mancare una stazione greca... ma i greci sono più incomprensibili degli italiani. Ecco quindi qualche ascolto da Bocca di Magra:

Le stazioni europee in onde medie stanno diminuendo. E di notte alcune spengono. Aumentano quindi le occasioni di ascoltare gli altri continenti. A Bocca di Magra, BOC 34, con Dario Monferini abbiamo fatto alcuni ascolti extraeuropei. La propagazione non è stata certo eccezionale, anzi, ma i DX non sono mancati. Questa volta, a differenza del solito, l'Iran era poco presente. Mentre arrivava qualche stazione dall'Arabia Saudita che ci era sfuggita in passato. Interessante la frequenza di 945 kHz dove abbiamo ascoltato la Nigeria e Sao Tome, anche se per poco, con fading e QRM. Le Onde Medie richiedo pazienza...

Sono tornato qualche giorno a Bocca di Magra (La Spezia) con Dario Monferini, DX editor di PlayDX, per le consuete giornate e nottate di ascolto BOC. Questa è stata l'edizione numero 33. Naturalmente abbiamo scelto il tempo ideale. Domenica 9 settembre è stata una giornate splendida, ma nei tre giorni consecutivi pioggia e tempesta. I segnalatori sul fiume hanno indicato per 3 giorni, senza sosta, "Allerta 2". Ma il fiume Magra si è comportato bene. Il vento fortissimo ha permesso di testare la resistenza meccanica della MaxiWhip di 10 metri. La canna da pesca si piegava come se avesse abboccato una balena, ma non ci sono stati problemi e l'ascolto è stato sempre garantito anche in versione sturm und drang. L'unico che ha avuto il coraggio di venire a trovarci è stato Marzio Vizzoni.

Tempo da lupi

In quanto agli ascolti, propagazione orripilante verso le Americhe, sia in onde corte che in onde medie. Ma il divertimento non è mancato. Sono stati registrati alcuni new country per BOC: Malta 999 kHz estratta con le unghie e con i denti in mezzo al solito turbinio di stazioni. Eritrea 1359 kHz in parallelo con le corte con la inconfondibile musica HOA style. Poi Radio Ashna da Kabul, Afghanistan, senza però id e quindi presumed, su 1269 kHz. Misterioso l'ascolto poco dopo le 18 su 1008 kHz, un programma in francese con notizie. L'unica possibilità pare essere Radio France International che trasmette da Taiwan con 300 o 600 kw... da approfondire.

Ci siamo poi dedicati con molta pazienza a dare anche al caccia alle programmazioni locali delle radio spagnole. Tra le varie catture molto bell'annuncio locale seguito da notizie cittadine di Radio Pontevedra, catena SER, 1116 kHz. Mai ascoltata prima in locale.

Da notare in onde medie la propagazione da Est, col risultato di avere l'Iran spesso dominante su diverse frequenze. Abbiamo sentito anche la Cecenia, Grozny, in russo poiuttosto bene. Molto bene una sera anche il Sudan. Diverse stazioni inglese con potenze anche molto sotto il kw.

Intanto di seguito riporto alcuni ascolti in Onde Medie e in Onde Corte. Con calma arriverà anche qualcosa di più.

Ecco qualche ascolto in Onde Medie a Bocca di Magra BOC 32. Anche in questo caso l'antenna regina è stata la MaxiWhip, che va molto bene anche in basso. O da sola o in combinazione con il loop della Wellbrook LFL1010 grazie al Quantum Phaser, che ha permesso alcuni ascolti altrimenti impossibili.

Ad esempio su 917 kHz Radio Gotel Yola, Nigeria, era inascoltabile sia col loop che con la MaxiWhip, in quanto sommersa dal QRM della Slovenia su 918 kHz. Ma con il Quantum Phaser (e molta pazienza) sono riuscito a trovare il modo di ascoltarla in modo comprensibile!
