Radio & Communication MW

With Dario Monferini (PlayDX editor) I was some days in Bocca di Magra, at the sea side. We observed good propagation conditions to Africa on MW. I also received Angola on 1088 kHz. Then on 846 kHz RAI Rome DRM is off and it was possible get with a real nice signal KBC Kenya also with portable and pocket receivers Sangean 909, Degen 1103, Sony SW-100, Tecsun 310, Tecsun 380. Sony performed as the best.

917 28/2 0520 Radio Gotel, Yola, Nigeria, nice music and talks, fair

1088 3/3 2055-2115 Radio Nacional Angola, Mulenvos, music, id, news in Portuguese, songs. Fair

1431 1/3 1740 Radio Sawa, Djibouti, in Arabic, songs, ids, good long fading

1539 1/3 1804 RTV Djibouti, songs, in // with 4780 but much better on MW ! Very good

1566 3/3 2030 TWR, Parakou, Benin religious talks, music, fair to good at different times
